Design

Meow Manager

I wrote this game with phaserjs and used PHP, MySQL for the backend. Worked with a diverse team of 5.

Designed and created this prototype with a 2 team members for a class project

I made this page to make you feel happy.

Animation

I designed this for my friends, who wanted a nice-looking animation. I used CSS effects and svg to keep the size small. The whole animation is 600KB, including the images and jquery.

TTC

I revamped the look and feel of this website. It is used by the college club for organizing trips.

Ben

I help to maintain and add new features to HCI Prof. Ben Shneiderman's website. Working with him helped me learn UX and UI principles. It was interesting to use his own principles on his website.

Helped professor Ben Shneiderman maintain his Wordpress blog

Planet Fit

Helped a professor with his website, in the public health department. Worked with a designer who sent me PSDs, which I then converted to code

I wrote this short article on designing driverless cars, for a class.

Image Quality Sorter (GSoC)

Integrated simple image quality sorting functionality into the large photo-management app Digikam by KDE.

Language Detector

This short program, written in python, helps to detect what language it is. (limited to a few indian languages).

Transcript Reader

This Web2Py application reads medical transcripts (tested with actual ones) and parses them via OpenCV to extract transcript data. I have not included the actual medical transcripts as I do not want to violate any US privacy laws.

Hotspot Positioning Library

This library places a red dot on the video you click.

Data

Trolling

I worked with Professor Jen during the summer to classify trolling tweets, and did some data analysis. Linked is the final presentation.

Iraq War

I analyzed Iraq War logs for a Social Networking class project.
